The public comparison does not require an account, email address or meter identifier.
Postcodes
A submitted postcode is used once to obtain an electricity region. It is sent through a no-store same-origin endpoint and is not written to the tariff database.
Consumption CSV files
The browser reads the file locally. Consumption readings are not uploaded. Only the selected region and first/last timestamps are sent to retrieve public tariff rates.
Supplier links
Following a supplier link takes you to that supplier’s website and privacy terms. Tariff Compare does not pass a personal comparison profile in those links.
